Each town is accessible by bus or car (20 minutes) by regular highways or roads. Optionally, to reach Nazare and Foz, you can choose leisurely drives along paved but slower ridgeline roads that offer panoramic views, on either side, of the ocean or valley. (Perfect for biking, too. ) Collectively, this part of Portugal’s ’Silver Coast’ is within a reasonable distance north of Lisboa (1 hour by car/bus, 2 hours by train). (Sao Martinho has a train station. The other seaside towns do not.
