’From the top of the lighthouse of Montedor, built in 1910 with 22 meters of altitude, extends the parish of Carreço, between sea and hill, with its four picturesque places: Troviscoso, Carreço, Montedor and Paçô.

Represented by the figures of the masseira, typical fishing vessel of Carreço, the windmills, unique with trapezoidal sails, which are classified as properties of public interest, the lighthouse of Montedor and the lyre, symbol of the culture of the parish, Carreço has about 2000 inhabitants and much more to show the world as the beach of Canto Marinho.
