The Centenary Manor House
Three Floors
A space worthy of kings and queens, barons and baronesses, dating back to the 18th century.
The elegance of the Solar (manor house) is evident in its inherited decor and well-preserved heritagefeaturing antique porcelain cabinets, chandeliers, mirrors, and collectible items.
The exterior walls are built with stone masonry, and the interior uses plastered or stuccoed ceramic masonry.
The manor has three floors:
Ground Floor: Reception, kitchen, dining room, and restrooms.
First Floor: Living room with a fireplace, a study area with internet and computer access, and a lounge with a charming rustic bar offering regional wines or herbal teas made from local leaves and flowers.
Second Floor: Five bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.
Chapel of Our Lady of the Conception
This private Marian-style chapel features an 18th-century altarpiece, attributed to the painter Pedro Alexandrino.
Its Romanesque portal leads into a space adorned with beautiful blue and white tiles on the side walls of the main altar area. These tiles feature the coats of arms of the former owners: Sousa Caldeiras and Mouras Mendonça (Bentos de Moura Mendonça)testimonies to the rich history and culture of the estate. The tiles are dated 1750.
