About 200 meters from this house, there is a small river beach, great for bathing in the Caniçada reservoir and for sunbathing!
This river beach, only accessible by land or boat, is generally uncrowded and little known.

The landscape cuts provided by mountains and valleys that form the beauty of this landscape and to which the dams with their reservoirs (Caniçada dam, Salamonde dam, Venda Nova dam, Rabagao dam, and Vilarinho das Furnas dam) have been added. Gerês at a point of passage for those who want to enjoy nature and moments of leisure, with hiking, ecotourism, and also various water sports.

It is about 15km (20min) from Vieira do Minho, 30km (30min) from Braga and 70km (60min) from Porto and its world heritage listed historic center.
You can rest, dive and swim, go boating or water sports in the Caniçada reservoir, walk or bike and get to know this beautiful region!
